"A Christmas Card"

Christmas is Christian holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus
Christ. For millions of Christians throughout the world it is the happiest and
the busiest time of the year. So, the atmosphere of fun, mystery
and happiness are always present. It is also the most favorite holiday for most
children. Children write letters to Santa Claus or Ded Moroz and tell him what
presents they would like to get. They dream as they know that it is a magic
holiday and all dreams come true on this day.
Our students wanted more children believe in wonder and tried to give a
piece of happiness to children who have no families. They made Christmas cards
themselves and wished the best things to orphans. They wrote letters as it was
Ded Moroz and sent them to children.We know that William Egley, an English artist, designed his own Christmas card and
sent it to one hundred of his friends in 1842. Today millions of cards are sent
annually in the world. When we make cards ourselves it seems that we give a
piece of our heart to someone. We hope our cards gave fortune and happiness to
children.We also make such an exhibition of our card and ask other students to
vote and choose the best one. The winner has got a present.
